Culture in Drôme the region
Camping in the Drôme is situated in the Rhône-Alpes region. The region of Drôme was named after the river Drôme which flows here and is an extension of the river Rhône. For those who love nougat, they will recognise the name Montélimar because of the nougat production here. But that’s not all. Château des Adhémar is a beautiful castle in Montélimar. You’ll also find that this city is the centre of modern art and you’ll find museums, the city gate and the Narbonne tower, these are great places to see for a great day out.
Beautiful weather while camping in the Drôme region
The nice weather is good for all the olives grown here, especially the ‘La Tanche’ olive which only grows in Nyons. Don’t leave Nyons without the trying some local olive oil. The journey to Nyons is an experience in itself, through the beautiful picturesque ‘’Promenade des Anglais’’, between the olive yards.
